Onion rings

- Onion 1

For batter:
- Corn starch 80 g
- Water 70cc
- Olive oil 1 tsp

For coating:
- WAPANKO 1 cup

To taste:

Salt
-
Turmeric
-
Coriander
-
Garam masala
-
Garlic powder

Your favorite spice of choice
You can add more olive oil to the batter if the WAPANKO doesn`t stick. Adding 2 tbsp of plant-based mayonnaise also works.
[ Method ]
- 1Slice onion into 1 cm rings and separate them into pieces.
- 2Mix the batter ingredients until well combined. Add the olive oil last.
- 3Dip the onions in the batter.
- 4Mix WAPANKO and seasonings in a bowl and transfer to a tray.
- 5Coat dipped onion in WAPANKO mixture.
- 6Fry in a preheated air fryer at 180 Celsius for 4 minutes on one side and 3 on the other.
