For the batter:
- Wapanko 50 g
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Milk 50 cc
- Egg 1

For frying:
- Salted butter 10 g
Topping suggestion: Honey Jam Chocolate sauce
[ Method ]
- 1Toast WAPANKO in a preheated air fryer at 180 Celsius for 4 minutes, until crispy.
- 2Mix the batter ingredients until well combined.
- 3Heat the butter in the frying pan.
- 4Combine the WAPANKO with the batter, making sure to eliminate any clumps. Pour the batter into the pan, immediately shaping it with a spatula before leaving it to fry for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- 5Serve with honey, jam or chocolate sauce, according to preference.
- 6Note: Prebaked WAPANKO adds more flavour but you can skip that step and the recipe will still be delicious.
